I'd like to apologize to my regular readers for the lack of posts recently. My fiancé and I set a date for our wedding – this August – so I have been dress shopping, venue scouting and otherwise brimming with all things bridal. But now the dress is bought, the reception mostly organized and the pace considerably less frenetic. Posting shall resume as normal, and apologies for my absence!

It couldn't happen to a nicer or more beautiful woman than you, Kate! Marriage was the best thing I ever did 12 years ago and it changed my life forever.
I know I could have never been as successful at my low-carb weight loss had it not been for that wonderful woman in my life. Your future husband is one lucky fella and I hope he realizes what a treasure he really has.
If not, then you can gently remind him early and often. My wife Christine does. LOL! Just kidding!
We MUST see pictures, Kate! You're gonna be a gorgeous bride. And SKINNY, too! :D
