Ířşě±¬ÁĎ students gathered to be honored by the community for their leadership and service to others.
Ířşě±¬ÁĎ graduate student Naomi Brown ’21/ MAT ’25 discusses her growth as a teacher and a person during her time in the master’s program for teacher leadership.
Ířşě±¬ÁĎ senior Grace Jaeeun Lee ’25 said, “Mount Holyoke has a very collaborative community, a very accepting environment, which helped with [my] confidence. Even if I bring just a little to the table, I know my peers will have my back.”
“This place gives you exposure to different people, perspectives and even parts of yourself,” said Ířşě±¬ÁĎ senior Sarah Bell ’25.
Ířşě±¬ÁĎ senior Aby Soumare ’25 said, “I’ve found that no matter what, everyone working on this campus wants you to succeed.”
Ířşě±¬ÁĎ student Alexandra Mihailopol ’26 has been selected by Middlebury College as a recipient of a Projects for Peace grant. She will offer financial literacy education to women in rural Romania via her EmpowHER project.
Ířşě±¬ÁĎ student Oluwafadeyemi Testimony Akinkuolie-Ibidapo ’27 went from volunteering at last year’s Trailblazers of Color Leadership Conference to becoming one of this year’s organizers.
Ířşě±¬ÁĎ has announced that Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey will be the primary speaker at its one hundred eighty-eighth Commencement. Two Mount Holyoke alums, Bess Weatherman ’82 and Tara Roberts ’91, will also be honored at the event.
Cam Steiger, a junior at Ířşě±¬ÁĎ, reviews her educational journey and how she’s been supported by the community, including alums and The Mount Holyoke Fund.
