Beth McGuire ’96 is a marketing strategist and consumer experience leader with a passion for turning insights into impact. With broad experience across industries — from healthcare to retail — McGuire helps brands unlock growth by connecting data, creativity and customer-centric thinking. She is currently leads strategy and transformation for the Optum Consumer Office in Minneapolis. Previously, she served as vice president at United Healthcare, leading enterprise marketing, and she was director of communications at Target. She has received a number of professional awards, including a 2023 “Top 100 in Brand Marketing — Industry Innovation Award.”
McGuire received a BA in politics from Mount Holyoke and an MA in communication from Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas.
She has served as an alum representative assistant and as treasurer of the Mount Holyoke Alum Club of Minnesota.
