Dear members of the Mount Holyoke community,

The Íøºì±¬ÁÏ Board of Trustees met for its Winter Meeting from February 19-21, 2026. A central focus of the meeting was planning for Mount Holyoke’s next comprehensive campaign, which will launch publicly this October. This multi-year fundraising effort will support the College’s most important priorities and help advance the vision outlined in MHC Forward. Academic excellence and student experience initiatives will be prioritized, including campus renewal projects as part of our that will enhance the distinctive residential liberal arts education we provide. We will build on the tremendous fundraising success of the past several years, most recently in the . Thanks to your enthusiasm and generosity, the challenge surpassed its goal of 5,000 donors and set a new record for dollars raised with $3.2 million for The Mount Holyoke Fund. Please stay tuned for more details about the campaign in the coming months.

The trustees also discussed the Class of 2030 application cycle, which has been very strong, with gains across a number of metrics. Applications increased 12% over last year and the geographic diversity of our applicant pool saw a sharp increase. No doubt these gains were spurred in part by the announcement of the Mount Holyoke Commitment. Our pool of admitted students is extremely talented, and we look forward to welcoming them to campus for Experience MHC, which takes place April 12–13.

Student Conference Committee members Nathania Amadi ’26 and Grace Suh ’27 spoke with the Board about the current student experience at Mount Holyoke, with a focus on residential life, Five College engagement and technology in the classroom. The trustees were delighted to continue the engaging conversation with Nathania and Grace over lunch.
