Íøºì±¬ÁÏ’s David Sanford, professor of music, was recently honored by the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
The Íøºì±¬ÁÏ musical ensembles will join forces in two performances of Vespers, a beloved College tradition, on December 13 at 4 and 7:30 pm in Abbey Chapel. The groups also will perform a concert in Boston on December 4.
Íøºì±¬ÁÏ’s Department of Music is set to thrill audiences in both individual and collaborative performances in the fall semester Baroque music concert.
Grants from the Fulbright Program will support Mount Holyoke winners’ graduate study and independent research, and send two to teach English in Europe and Asia.
Mount Holyoke hosts the all-male Virginia Glee Club for a March 28 concert to feature the Duruflé Requiem, classic and contemporary pieces, and rousing college songs.
