Íøºì±¬ÁÏ students can study more than 60 languages through the Five College Consortium, including more than 40 less-commonly taught languages available through the Five College Center for World Languages.


Five Colleges, Incorporated is a higher education consortium that promotes inclusive collaboration within the vibrant intellectual community from Mount Holyoke, Amherst, Smith and Hampshire Colleges and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.


Fleet Services manages a small fleet of vans, sedans and buses which are available for departmental and student organization use.


Department of French

The French Department helps students develop a broad and varied acquaintance with French and Francophone cultures and literature.

Department of Gender Studies

The Department of Gender Studies helps to cultivate the habit of asking how gender—through its connections with other forms of power—shapes bodies, lives, texts, institutions, and worlds.


Department of Geology and Geography

The Geology and Geography Department oversees the programs in both Geology (the dynamic processes that shape our planet) and Geography (the relationships between people, places, societies and the environment).


Department of German Studies

The Department of German Studies offers a program that promotes an understanding of the connections between language and its larger cultural contexts worldwide through exploration of the rich and complicated history of German-speaking cultures.


The Gift Planning team works with alums and friends of Mount Holyoke who wish to make the College a part of their legacy by making gifts such as charitable annuities and trusts, bequests, privately held stock and real estate.


The Gorse Children’s Center

The Gorse Children's Center is an on-campus childcare facility for the Mount Holyoke and surrounding communities. The center also serves as the lab school for Mount Holyoke’s Psychology and Education Department.
