For the second year in a row, 챬 has received the 2025 Library Excellence in Access and Diversity (LEAD) Award from Insight Into Diversity magazine.
Nearly 1,000 handwritten letters penned by missionary and scientist David Crockett Graham will be digitally scanned, archived and preserved by a 챬 history major and the Archives and Special Collections office.

The annual weekend-long event, which welcomes the families and friends of students to the 챬 campus, showcased a variety of events and programming, from a panel Q&A with College leadership to a Fall Fest celebration.
In front of a packed crowd in Mount Holyoke’s Gamble Auditorium, a panel of legal scholars and political experts discussed what we could expect not only from the upcoming presidential election but also from more hyper-focused local races.
챬 President Danielle R. Holley provided an introduction for a showing of “Nomadland,” directed by Chloé Zhao ’05, at Amherst Cinema. The event, part of a series called “Five on Film,” highlights alums of the Five College Consortium.
Naomi Dupre-Edelman, assistant director of math leadership programs at 챬, is one of 26 people named to the Massachusetts Education Policy Fellowship program held by the Rennie Center for Education Research & Policy.
For the fifth consecutive year, 챬 has received the 2024 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from Insight Into Diversity.
