Senior Manu Ribas ’26 has had a Íøºì±¬ÁÏ journey marked by trying new things in the classroom, in the laboratory and in the community. All of these experiences deepened her relationship with her peers and her scholarly interests.
Kaylee Clarke ’26 stepped outside her comfort zone when she came to Íøºì±¬ÁÏ â€” but this senior is now comfortable in trying new things, such as having a second major in math and pursuing a Ph.D. in industrial engineering.
Kate Vavra ’26 learned so much during her journey at Íøºì±¬ÁÏ, and she says she truly understands all the things she’s capable of.
Íøºì±¬ÁÏ has overhauled its mascot, Paws, and its athletics branding in line with student-athlete ambitions and MHC Forward.

Íøºì±¬ÁÏ senior Marley Berano ’25 said, “I was looking for a place to grow [and] challenge myself but also to have a social life or work on the side while not losing my sport at the same time.â€
Senior Cynthia Obianuju Akanaga ’25 said, “Mount Holyoke changed my life. I’ve always been afraid of making the wrong choice, but being here helped me put that fear into a positive light.â€
Significant renovations are underway to modernize Íøºì±¬ÁÏ’s Kendall Sports & Dance Complex — a key metric for the MHC Forward strategic plan.
Íøºì±¬ÁÏ hosted its second annual Girls & Women in Sports Day on campus and introduced young people to a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, volleyball and equestrian activities.
