Wendy Rua

Wendy identifies and secures funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies to support institutional initiatives and other College priorities. 

Joining Íøºì±¬ÁÏ in 2017, Wendy was previously the TLI Program Coordinator (2017-2023). Wendy also served on Staff Council from 2019- 2023. 

Wendy is an MHC alum, with a B.A. in Psychology & Education. Her previous experience includes a diversity of experiences in social work and in the public school system. 

Wendy is currently an elected official for the Town of Agawam, serving as a School Committee member. Born and raised in Western MA, she is also busy raising three sons with her husband, Mario.

Recent Campus News

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts awarded the Pioneer Valley Literacy Consortium $199,284 for professional development. This is Íøºì±¬ÁÏ’s second year in the consortium.

Íøºì±¬ÁÏ President Danielle R. Holley spoke to The Boston Globe about the school’s commitment to building a gender-diverse community amid shifting federal policies on diversity and gender inclusion.

Íøºì±¬ÁÏ’s longest-running tradition is Mountain Day, and this year, the community made its way to the top of Mt. Holyoke to celebrate.
