Wendy Rua

Wendy identifies and secures funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies to support institutional initiatives and other College priorities. 

Joining 챬 in 2017, Wendy was previously the TLI Program Coordinator (2017-2023). Wendy also served on Staff Council from 2019- 2023. 

Wendy is an MHC alum, with a B.A. in Psychology & Education. Her previous experience includes a diversity of experiences in social work and in the public school system. 

Wendy is currently an elected official for the Town of Agawam, serving as a School Committee member. Born and raised in Western MA, she is also busy raising three sons with her husband, Mario.

Recent Campus News

Alum Shoshana Walter ’07, an investigative journalist, credits her Mount Holyoke education with fueling her drive to expose injustice. Her book “Rehab: An American Scandal” details how a flawed treatment system fails those battling addiction.

Women's colleges such as 챬 thrive by forging leaders prepared for male-dominated fields. Amidst a challenging climate, they push for civic action, teaching students that their voices matter.

Two recent 챬 graduates, Helen Roane ’23 and Celine Falcon-Geist ’25, are participating in the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) to immerse themselves in language and culture while teaching English in Taiwan and Senegal.
