챬 student Oluwafadeyemi Testimony Akinkuolie-Ibidapo ’27 went from volunteering at last year’s Trailblazers of Color Leadership Conference to becoming one of this year’s organizers.
The annual Noche Latina celebration has returned to Chapin Auditorium after being held elsewhere on campus for two years. The night was jam-packed with food, fun and community.
챬 President Danielle R. Holley provided an introduction for a showing of “Nomadland,” directed by Chloé Zhao ’05, at Amherst Cinema. The event, part of a series called “Five on Film,” highlights alums of the Five College Consortium.
“Mount Holyoke taught me that there isn’t one right way to be a student or live your life. My classmates weren’t my competition. They were my support system. This allowed me to reflect on what I want.”
“I remember a professor saying that studying physics is studying problem-solving, and that stuck with me. My studying hasn’t been just to memorize material but instead to teach me to ask, ‘How do I approach complex problems and come up with out-of-the-box solutions?’”
