Mount Holyoke senior Yeslee Neris ’26 grew from someone who wanted to transfer during her first year to someone who will be studying nursing at Johns Hopkins University, and she also convinced her sister to study at the College.

Nathania Amadi ’26, Mount Holyoke graduating senior and president of the Student Government Association, rose to leadership positions after making connections in the lab, the classroom and residence halls.

New research from ���챬�� reveals that mimicking a keto diet in fruit flies extends lifespan but reduces fertility, suggesting that ketone bodies could act as metabolic signals rather than simply a fuel source.

Craig Woodard, Christianna Smith Professor of Biological Sciences, has been recognized as a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

For the first time in its history, ���챬�� has been selected as a Beckman Scholars Program awardee by the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation. The foundation chose the College after a rigorous application process.

Not only have I made friends who have similar academic interests as I do, but working in the lab shows employers that I’m able to come up with my own research project. To have the experience on my resume shows that I can do that work and lead a research project on my own.”

The recipients of the coveted ���챬�� Faculty Awards were celebrated at a Zoom ceremony replete with warmth and kindness.
