Keep up with all the ways in which the Mount Holyoke community is pushing the limits of human knowledge, building lasting bonds and leading the way forward — on campus and around the world.

“Whether you're leading a project, whether you're running an experiment, whether you're working with a team, patience is very important. There are so many ways where the solution to the problem is just … seeing what the next move you can take is.”
“The mentorship is one of the biggest reasons I’m glad I went to Mount Holyoke. When I talk to my peers who didn’t go to a small liberal arts college, it’s so different.”
“I want to take all of the ideas I have learned at Mount Holyoke and instill them into my own classroom someday, to help the next generation understand the intersectionality of the world long before I did.”
“It has been really uplifting to have so much support for nontraditional opportunities and carving my own path back into the dance world through academics.”
I found the psychology professors always ready to help students and their valuable guidance continues to inspire me after graduation.
As a double major in dance and mathematics, I found that many threads ran through my two fields of study.
After my lab experience at MHC, I completed a Ph.D. in Theoretical Computational Chemistry and work at ACS Nano and Nano Letters.
I learned to conduct independent research, program algorithms, and present my ideas effectively to multiple audiences.
I built the skills in my scientific training to help my team synthesize information and advise senior management on strategic priorities.
